I can't seem to move today! Usually when Kat drops off for her morning nap I can put her down and get a few things done before she wakes up. For some reason today, everytime I move she wraps her hands in my shirt and clings for dear life! If I put her down she wakes up crying.
For some reason this silly little baby is completely attached to me today. When she's awake she's happy enough as long as I'm in touching distance. She had a long and deeply involved conversation with Horton this morning, but only when I was right next to her on the couch. And even if I'm next to her, she manages to scoot closely enough that she's laying against me.
I wonder if she's missing the time before she was born, when she was always with me and being held on to. It seems that way... all she wants is momma right now, and if I hug her tight she gives me a big smile and lays her head down to sleep.
I know they say 'If you hold them too much you'll spoil them'... but my thought on this is: If she needs me to hold her, then I'm going to do what she needs- not what people think I should do. She's gotten much more independent lately and sometimes cries to be put down, if she needs held then there's some baby logic to it!
So I'm a siamese mommy today for the WeeKat. Luckily I can have her curl up on her Boppy in my lap while I'm at the computer. Just gotta find computer stuff to keep me busy! LOL
Man this cuddling stuff is hard work! *grin*

I really believe you can not ever spoil a baby!!!!!!! Enjoy these momments. I got to hold Johnny today, just hold him.....it is wonderful to be a Mommy!
Some days are like that. It is wonderful that you have such an amazing attitude about the whole thing and are so great about rolling with the changes.
According to my doctors, there's really no way to spoil them during the first 6 months. Do whatever you need to, to keep them happy, thriving and safe.
And believe me a little clingy time no and the won't harm her in the least!!!!!
