Sick...

I have a nasty nasty head cold right now... ugh... Tim is a carrier monkey and I should've tossed his butt out into the snow when he came home coughing! Of course this works the way it always does, he feels mildly under the weather for like a day.... and I get whatever he has and am sick for a week and have twice as bad symptoms! The man is an evil evil carrier monkey. Cute, but evil.

Kat seems to be doing fine not getting it from me, apparently she's getting enough breastmilk from me to keep her immunities up. I didn't know that my body started producing antibodies the minute I was exposed to the virus, so the wee one is likely the only person in the house who WON'T get sick. I can't imagine choosing to not breastfeed.... well okay I can, when she bites... but mostly it's pretty amazing what our bodies can do. LOL... Hopefully getting sick like this won't effect my ability to keep this up for a bit longer. I'd hate to have the option taken away completely, so I'm working hard to make sure that won't happen!

Only problem with all this is, I've got NO clue what medicines I'm allowed to have when breastfeeding. Time to research, I can't sleep anyway! *cough, hack, sneeze, wipe red nose- repeat*
