Sick (still, or again?) It's anyone's pick. Although I'm not nearly as bad as I was, definitely still sick. Kat seems to have picked up just a touch of the stomach bug as well. She's doing fine except at night when her tummy hurts it's hard for her to sleep. Already this morning she seems to be feeling better.
She was so good last night at our friend Karen and Greg's house. We went to have a game night with them and some other folks, and she just smiled at everyone and petted their (HUGE) golden retreiver dogs who were so sweet, and sat in our laps while we rolled dice etc. I never cease to be amazed at what a well behaved kid I've spawned. I'm not real sure how it happened, but no one is more shocked than me. Perhaps in 2 years or so I'll be singing a different tune, but who knows.
It's a rarity in life to meet folks you click well with, even more rare to meet them as a couple. I think we've genuinely met some capital F Friends, and not just for one of us, for both of us. And of course they adore Kat (who doesn't? LOL) so I have to say life in Michigan is surely looking up. We found a whole group of gamer nerds, and quite a few of them are pagan as well- so that's lucky LOL
Aside from that, I am SO very looking forward to going back home to visit this summer, especially to hit the festival! I miss workshops, and booths, and camping... I miss my festival buddies and my friends from back home. I'm looking forward to showing Kat off to everyone, but especially my Mom. Only a few more months!!!
So there's my random update... *and there was much rejoicing* "Yay."

HURRAY! I hope you have fun! And it's so awesome to hear about all the awesomeness that Kat is being exposed to. I hope my child will get to be like this, since both my Fiance and I are gamer nerds who love festival and I am pagan and he is half? haha so HURRAY! Nerds Unite in raising more nerds. :) Hope you both feel better soon!
